What to check before ordering OTC hearing aids
By PAMUINI ยท Published September 9, 2026
Check suitability before comparing price
U.S. OTC hearing aids are intended for adults 18 and older with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. They can be purchased without a prescription or medical examination, but warning signs still call for professional care.
Read the label and seller terms
Review the intended users, warnings, battery information and instructions. Check the seller's return policy before purchasing rather than assuming every device includes the same trial period.
Questions to send the seller
- Is the quoted price for one device or two?
- What is the total including shipping and any applicable charges?
- When does the return window start?
- Where must returns be sent, and who pays return shipping?
- What does the warranty cover, and how do I request help?
For current PAMUINI products
Both current models are unsuitable for high-frequency hearing difficulty. If unsure about your needs, clarify them before ordering. Displayed prices are reference ranges. Our assisted-order email asks support to confirm availability and final terms; it does not place an order or take payment.
Read shipping and returns and warranty information before making a decision.
Keep a written purchase record
Before agreeing to a purchase, keep the exact model name, device quantity, included accessories, final quote and seller terms together. Record which details remain unconfirmed. A general comparison article is not a substitute for the actual product label, instructions or written offer.
Resolve unanswered questions first
If runtime, charging accessories, compatibility or service arrangements matter to you, request model-specific confirmation. Do not infer a feature from the appearance of a device or from another brand's product. An unanswered question is a reason to clarify the offer, not to fill the gap with an assumption.
