How to care for your hearing aids

Keep hearing aids clean and away from heat and moisture. Follow the cleaning instructions for your exact model; a method intended for one device may not suit another.
A simple daily routine
- Check the instructions before cleaning the device or its ear tips.
- Keep hair-care sprays away from hearing aids.
- Switch devices off when not in use.
- Replace exhausted disposable batteries promptly.
- Store small devices and spare batteries away from children and pets.
If sound changes or whistling continues
Poor fit, a device problem, wax or fluid can contribute to feedback. Arrange professional advice for persistent problems instead of repeatedly increasing volume.
